Population

The population of Kamloops is 84,000 as of June 2005. City planners predict the population will continue to grow steadily at a growth rate of 1.25 to 2 % annually over the next 5 years. View the current census count and population estimates of 20 residential neighborhoods in Kamloops.

Kamloops is the primary city within the Thompson Nicola Regional District (TNRD). the incorporated communities of Ashcroft, Cache Creek, Chase, Clinton, Logan Lake, Lytton, Merritt and Kamloops. The 2004 BC Stats Community Facts Population Estimates has estimated the population of the TNRD to be 127,195.
